Siobhan Bourke holds an MA in Geography. She is a graduate of EAVE; Europe's leading training programme for producers of film, television and documentary. Siobhan Bourke has been film advisor to the Irish Arts Council. Her film work includes: producer of Heartline, The Case of Majella McGinty, Hit and Run, A Ferret Called Mickey, Love is the Drug, Whistleblower and Acceptable Risk. She was chairperson of the contract awards committee of the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland. Saffron Pictures is jointly managed by Siobhan Bourke and Kathryn Lennon.
