John Gerrard holds a BFA in Sculpture, MFA in Art and Technology and a MSc in Computer Science. He was artist in residence at Ars Electronica Futurelab and exhibited at the Ars Electronica Festival 2003 - 2005. He has shown with the Marian Goodman Gallery, the Knoedler Gallery, New York and the Hirschorn Museum, Washington. With 'Animated Scene' he paricipated at the 53 Biennale di Venezia. More recently he collaborated with Wayne McGregor on 'Live Fire Exercise' for the Royal Ballet, London. He is represented by Tomas Dane Gallery, London and Simon Preston Gallery, New York.
