Whistleblower - Dublin 2008 - A factually based drama about one young midwife's courage in blowing the whistle on irregular obstetric practices at the hospital where she worked. This decision resulted in a full investigation, highlighting the plight of of women whose lives were blighted forever. RTE Drama Department commissioned Saffron Pictures in association with Newgrange Pictures to produce the TV two-part series. Whistleblower is the winner of the 2009 Irish Film and Television Award for best TV Drama Series and of the 2009 Celtic Media Festival for best Feature Length Drama.
